Yup, still in Paris here on the blog!. Just wanted to show a little selection of pictures from my wekend besides being at Playtime. I actually don't mind traveling alone, I love to wonder around in the city and have coffee breaks whenever I want to, go in and out of shops as I please and just explore different areas. It was both sunny and warm and rainy and gray that weekend but I managed to have a pretty great time anyway!. 1.The city is so pretty! 2.Playtime Paris head office. 3.Favorite kids shop in Paris: Talc. 4.Favorite hotel in the city: Mama Shelter. 5.My roof for one night: Hotel Paradis. 6.Coffee break. 7.Ice cream break with a photographer friend and her sweet kids. 8.Party at Playtime. 9. Lovely Elisabeth from Norwegian brand Jumina having Cotton Candy. 10.The perfect summerhouse gift for a little boy and girl: a boat night light. Love it!
No, I'm not still in Paris... but I'm on vacation so the blog might also be, at least a little bit!. I still have some goodies from Playtime to show you guys though: Caramel Baby and Child (pic. 1–2) always seem to tick all my boxes. It's wearable and just dressy enough . I loved the vintage styling and their stand was just so cute. NYC based brand, Oeuf, was a real surprise this season. Lot's of new styles, patterns and colors. Ketiketa is a French brand and makes the most delicate clothes, bedlinen and decorative accessories. I adore the exotic prints, delicate colours and the whole natural look and feel.
It's so hard to make a selection from all the great brands I saw this weekend. That being said there is always somebody who stands out and catches your eye, here are a few favorites (1 out of 3). Pierrot la Lune (two first pics) has made a lovely spring/summer collection filled with soft summer knits, comfortable dresses for girls and shirts for boys. Adeline Affre (pic. 3–4) is kind of a newcomer, she makes really cute and playful jewellery for kids and also showed a new home collection this time. Blankets, pillows and bags all in colorful patterns, I left wanting more (...like everything). Danish shoe brand Angulus was like a candy store... shiny pastels mixed with classic navy and black leather. The way to go... Norwegian brand Jumina (last two pics) is always like a fairytale, fun and whimsical. Bows, dots and kites is what to expect from summer 2015. We can't wait!.
I have had the best time at Playtime Paris this time around (well, I always do)!. I got to meet so many new and old friends, great brands and A LOT of nice spring/summer 15 collections. This is a preview of the fair and I will post my favorite collections this week so stay tuned!. You can keep up with me on Instagram too if you want, @thejnr.

FIVE days until FOUR weeks of freedom (well, kind of...). I leave for Paris on Friday and the rest of my gang to Sweden. A few days all alone in the city of love... Will make the most of it for sure!.
This weekend has been filled with playdates, long lunches, messy hair and a bit of teething...
In case you haven't noticed, the blog has been a bit quiet this spring. There is always room for one more project or just a tiny little something. Sooo, a friend and myself have something exciting coming up this fall so wait and see... Just bare with me!.
Oh, and I will be at Playtime Paris on Saturday (and maybe Sunday) so if you see me, please come and say Hi!.
Notes on clothes: I'm wearing a new sweatshirt from French brand émoi émoi. Lykke wears tee from Atsuyo et Akiko (seriously the best tees, I don't know how many time this one has been washed!) and leggings from Mini Rodini. Levi wears tee from Tiny Cottons.
A little bit more fall/winter for you, just in case you miss it... These pictures makes me smile though, Mini Rodini always have so much humor in their designs, I love that!. The AW14 collection "Quel Carrousel!" is inspired by the life and people behind the circus. With a large number of sustainable and pieces made from GOTS and Fairtrade certified cotton, it's well worthy a place in the spotlight this fall.
Yup, a few weeks late on this one (to the point I almost forgot I was suppose to post it)... Anyway, MiniØya is a tradition for us, Lykke LOVES it and we always team up with good friends. A day filled with sun, music, ice cream, Pippi Långstrump and cotton candy... Pretty damn perfect if you ask me!.
I know, the last thing you are thinking about is wool right now... I just had to share the upcoming collection from NYC based Oeuf. They got their inspiration from the energy and attitude of Brooklyn. It's as usual very playful and easy to wear. Oeuf invites kids to feel free, to play, to dance, to create, to dress-up and to express themselves. Who doesn't want to look like cool little Brooklynites??.
These garments are hand-knitted in 100% baby alpaca, a luxurious and sustainable material. Oeuf believes in fair trade and partners with a cooperative in Bolivia, allowing the women to practice their craft in a favorable working environment.
In Norway you can get it at Jungelensleker.
