A little bit of spring from Mini-Mei arrived this week. I'm a sucker for Atsuyo et Akiko organic cotton tee's and this one with Mickey and Minnie (and in gold) is just perfect. Also really like the graphic blouse from Indikidual and the tiny teddy bear leggings from Mini Rodini (also 100% organic cotton), so darn cool!.

Our little girl turned 3 (!!) last Sunday and we had to celebrate BIG of course. We got a lot of help from my sister and her boyfriend (we owe you guys!) and I think this little party turned out great!. In-between the cake, chocolate balls and popcorn the kids played with the cute Easter masks we got and also turned our sofa into a trampoline... The after-party was finished off with L and Annie having the very last of the cookies...
She got some great gifts and had a blast playing with all her friends so thanks to everybody who came and celebrated!.

If you are a regular reader of this blog you know I'm big Caramel Baby and Child fan, I wrote about their SS13 collection not so long ago but didn't show any baby outfits. So here are a few of my favorites!. Love the stripy jackets for boys and all the beautiful florals for girls, the airy loose fit of all of these outfits are just perfect for warmer days, which is just around the corner, right!?.
Besides lego, books and clothes, L got these really cool sunnies from Very French Gangsters, not sure how gangster they are in pink but they are the perfect pair and she really loves them!. We ordered them from Danish optiction's, SEERUP Optic, they carries Very French Gangsters, as the first shop in Denmark (and Scandinavia)!. The collection consists of 4 unique models that are available as eyeglasses and sunglasses.
As you can see I have no problem going overboard with decorations for a birthday party... L turned 3 yrs. old yesterday and we had so much fun!. I think all her little friends really liked the colorful decorations, but probably not as much as they did the cake and popcorn!.
We were lucky enough to get sent a great deal of decoration from shop, My Lille Limón, like the wooden spoons, glasses and plates, stripy straws, mini stripy paper bags and the colorful garland (yes, they have a great party section). I also bought the big pom-poms and the make-it-yourself-banner from Nest (Oslo). More party pics to come!.

We usually leave town for Easter but this year we can't because of the potential birth. Oslo has shown itself from it's best side with blue sky's and lot's of sun, hubby and me also got some time to ourselves while L was at daycare. It was spent lunching at my favorite café, Kolonihagen, fixing things for L's birthday on Sunday and doing some DIY at home. Happy Easter everyone!.

When and why did you start up? After leaving the music industry where I'd worked my whole life, I found myself doing a job I hated. I went for another job at a well known children's fashion retailer that looked to be in the bag, but fell through at the last minute. I realised then that there's was nothing I loved more than kids fashion and that I was so sold on doing that as a career, that I then couldn't imagine doing anything else. I quit my job in June and opened my own store on September 1st.
What inspires you? I'm still very much inspired by the music scene. I love dressing mini rock stars. The biggest one I know is my son Felix, and then of course there is Cissy after whom the shop was named. They genuinely love clothes and the way they look is such a big part of how they are. I spend way more on their wardrobes than I do on mine!

We have had a bit of Easter fun today, I got this egg decoration set at lovely shop Nest in Oslo, and L loved it!. I had to do a lot of cutting for her but after that she put on stickers, pom-poms and plastic eyes like she's never done any thing else. We are saving the egg painting bit for Aunty Annie and Josef (evil laugh) who are coming tomorrow...
