I took a couple of days off from the computer last week...we headed home to Sweden for a week and have had the best time down here!. Really warm weather and L and hubby had their first swim (!!). I pretty much grew up on this beach and we are now building a summer house right here, do I need to tell you how excited we are!?.

Ok, we have a new favorite dress!. It's by Danish brand MarMar Copenhagen and we got it in the mail last week (thanks a million), it's so pretty and L won't take it off... This actually might be a tunic but we use it as a dress for now.

We have had Grandpa (my Dad) visiting this weekend and it's been so great with a little bit of help. L has also loved having someone to harass (with love, of course!)... We went down to the opera house yesterday, it's located right by the waterfront and the building is really cool so we like to come here now and then to show off Oslo. Oh, and they serve THE BEST tiramisu, ever!. They also do a little bit of kids theater and plays...

We love these peekaboo blankets from Swedish Little Red Stuga, great for L to play with and also really nice just as a blanket for the baby (as for now)... We can count ourselves lucky here in Scandinavia, we don't only get a year off with pay, we can share it with our men as well!. The guys gets two weeks off when the baby is born and then they can take out at least 3 months within 3 years. Our two first weeks are up and I really miss having my Man around. It's the best thing being two and being able to help each other out, not to mention nice to have the support from your better half after just giving birth, you are not really yourself. Long walks, taking turns sleeping, coffee breaks, cuddling with baby boy while the other one takes a loooong shower. Now, alone, it's pretty much shower if you can, coffee to go and do the laundry while the baby is sleeping haha...

What kind of webshop is Made With Love Kids? I have found that when it comes to Children’s fashion there has only really been two categories; Traditional or Quirky, neither options reflected who I am. Bored with these options I decided to open a webshop that focused on style. I source brands that are style conscious, with design led by adult fashion. Made with Love Kids aims to attract the style conscious parents, who are influenced by design rather than logo, who dress their little ones to compliment, but not replicate, themselves. In 3 words how would you describe your shop? Fresh, Charismatic and Stylish.

What inspires you? I am influenced by photography. I truly believe beautiful clothes can create beautiful memories. I am inspired by capturing the moment, the feeling and the emotion that fashion can create. I love going through old photos and evoking the same feeling I felt when the picture was taken. I will smile fondly remembering the place, time and events surrounding the picture being taken – all those thoughts and feelings can be evoked just by falling in (or out) of love with what I wore that day. Childhood should be filled with beautiful memories.

A new baby is great, beyond great in fact and it's heart warming to see our little girl acting like the big sister she is now. But it's actually pretty hard as well, balancing attention between these two is much harder then I thought it would be... I also feel a bit heartbroken as I can't be with my little girl like I used to, the baby takes up a lot of my time and I wish there was more hours in the day to just be with L. I know this is just a phase and it's probably just good for everybody that things shift and I know she will grow from this...

This chic Parisian label has always been a favorite of mine and visiting their shop in Paris last summer in was a real treat!. Talc makes modern, minimalist clothes with clean lines, I love the wink to the 70's in this spring summer collection.
